The Prescott Police Department reports that Prescott Officer Jesse Neely has been selected as the new K9 Handler for the Prescott Police Department. In a letter sent to Officer Neely from Chief Eric Michaels, Officer Neely showed diligent work towards the goal of becoming the K9 handler for PPD, and was instrumental at fundraising events for the program. Officer Neely will be paired with a K9 officer soon, and the pair will be attending K9 training, beginning in August of 2022.
