The end of 2022 will see many changes to local, state and federal governing bodies, and Rosemount is no exception. Tuesday evening was the final City Council meeting for Rosemount Mayor Bill Droste. Droste served as Mayor of Rosemount since 2002, and was recently elected to the Dakota County Board of Commissioners for the newly-rezoned District 4, which includes portions of 4 cities and Empire Township. Members of the public are invited to celebrate with him and wish him well at a Farewell Celebration to be held on Tuesday, January 3, from 4:30 to 6 PM in the Assembly Hall at the Steeple Center, 14375 South Robert Trail.
