We love hockey. Yes, we do! 
In a community interest story, we are highlighting the “We Love Hockey” sign that is at the Scheels rink located at the United Heroes League. How did the sign make its way to Hastings? Well, a couple weekends ago Nick Werner, Nick from Froth and Cork, was attending the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship and saw the “We Love Hockey” sign. His family took a photo in front of the sign, and Nick had to make inquiries about the sign. After all, the 20th Hockey Day MN was right around the corner and located in Hastings. Nick received word back about the “We Love Hockey” sign and that he could have it since the World Junior Championship was finished. So, Nick’s dad, Ron Werner, picked up the massive sign and delivered it to the Scheels rink for Hockey Day MN. Thank you, Ron! And the free-standing sign is already a hit, as hockey teams have snapped team photos in front of it after practice on the ice. After all, we love hockey!
