After a very successful Hockey Day Minnesota, the cleanup begins, and United Heroes League has put out a plea for help. In a Facebook post shared by KDWA, Shane Hudella has put out a message for individuals to help clean up from the festivities.
“We are in desperate need of volunteers this week to help clean up the aftermath of Hockey Day MN. If you have even an hour to spare please just show up at United Heroes League between 0900 – 3pm and check in at our main office first so we can capture your name and email.” Hudella said in the post. “We have a tremendous amount of garbage that needs to be picked up as well as things to be put away. We just need lots of hands.”
Hudella said they would be doing a drawing next week for those that help, with a to be determined item as a thank you.
Hudella noted that Hastings “absolutely crushed it” on Hockey Day, but “now we need one last push to cleanup”.
