At the February 2nd Hastings City Council meeting, City Administrator Dan Wietecha gave a PFAS 
update. There was some bad news by way of an inconclusive test performed by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, but there was also good news in terms of funding.

The City of Hastings implemented a 10% increase to residents’ water bills in January. City Administrator Wietecha offers insight into the cost of the water treatment plants and the work being done to ease the burden on the taxpayers.
