Looking for a year-round tanning solution? Get Tan, located at 127 Danforth Avenue South in
Red Wing, offers a variety of tanning services to help you maintain your glow all year long. Hunter Hayes, manager of Get Tan, recently spoke with KDWA about the salon’s services and special offers.
“We offer stand-up and lay-down tanning options with three different levels of lay-downs. We also have red light therapy, an infrared sauna with chromolite therapy, spray tans that are done by hand, and an aqua water massage bed. We also have plenty of salon-grade products to help you tan faster and elevate your tanning and red-light experience.”
New to tanning? Hayes explains the welcoming atmosphere at Get Tan.
“Well, when you come in, you’ll see the front desk, and it’s usually either me or one of our employees sitting there in our salon. Specifically, it is like a big round hallway with a bunch of different little rooms, and each of them have different beds and different stuff in them. Whenever anybody comes in, we like to give them a tour of kind of everything, so they can see all the options we have. And then we have all of our different services and pricing posted on the wall above our heads at the front desk.”
Hayes highlights the special offers and promotions available at Get Tan.
“Yeah, actually, each month we have a specials calendar that comes out on the first of the month. It has a new special for every day. We also have two large sales each year, one in July, where all the packages are buy one get one half off, and then one in January, where all the packages are buy one get one free.”

Hayes discusses an upcoming initiative at Get Tan that customers will want to know about.
“One upcoming plan we have this summer is we’re gonna start doing some all-inclusive memberships and more membership options as well. We also plan to improve the salon even more. We’ve done quite a few updates in the past two years. If you haven’t been in in a few years or so, I definitely come in and check out some of the new things we’ve done around here.”
