The Hastings American Legion baseball team took down Eagan in an elimination game Friday afternoon, winning 6-5. The Raiders were down heading into the 6th inning, but a two-run homerun by Cole Werner put them ahead to get the win. The Raiders will need to win twice today to earn a trip to state, starting with a game at noon.
The Miesville Mudhens continued their winning streak with an 11-6 victory over Baseball 365 as heard live on KDWA and on the KDWA YouTube stream Friday night. The Mudhens got up early and survived multiple attempts by Baseball 365 to get back into the game as their powerful offense continues to rake at the plate. Miesville will next compete tomorrow hosting Lakeville at The Jack.
