A Minnesota born author will be presenting a series of appearances next week including the first to be held on Thursday, April 21st at the Bierstube Restaurant in Hastings. Mary Sharratt, who now lives in England, will read from her new novel The Dark Lady?s Mask, which explores the life of the first professional woman poet in Renaissance England. Sharratt has four appearances in our area beginning on April 21st and concluding with an extended date on the 25th in Red Wing in which the Toastmasters club will provide a Digging Deeper writing workshop at Pier 55.
