residents viewed the construction plans, asked questions, or voiced concerns.
A repeatedly voiced concern was the speed of drivers entering or exiting town. Some residents felt that the 45 mph speed limit in this area needed to be reduced. The mayor and many city council members were present and listened to residents’ concerns about safety. KDWA spoke with Council Member DawnMarie Vihrachoff and asked what the City’s action steps are when they hear of concerns such as these.
KDWA connected with Jordan Horejsi, project manager for HR Green. Horejsi spoke into the project and the County’s ability to influence the speed concern.
