Dakota County Commissioners Send a Letter to State and Federal Government

The Dakota County Board of Commissioners had a special Board of Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, January 27th, at 3:30pm in the Boardroom of the Hastings Administrative Center.

The purpose of the meeting, according to Dakota County, was to consider a letter with the intention to send the letter to Minnesota’s Congressional delegation and potentially other appropriate federal and state officials regarding federal law enforcement and its impact on county operations.

A full quorum was present. Of the seven commissioners, absent was Commissioner Joe Atkins of District 3 and Commissioner Liz Workman of District 5.

In the meeting’s agenda was the review of a letter and a resolution to act on—sending the letter to specific parties.
