Hastings Celebrates Arbor Day with Tree Planting in Pleasant Park

The City of Hastings once again celebrated Arbor Day by planting trees in a city park. This year 13 trees were planted at Pleasant Park. According to the City of Hastings Arbor Day proclamation, since 1997 Hastings has been recognized as a Tree City USA community by the National Arbor Day Foundation. This event was sponsored by Dakota Electric Association and Hoffman and McNamara Landscaping of Hastings.
