The Prescott School District has announced the following changes for school on Friday due to the extreme cold temperatures:
Grades 4K and 6-12 will be distance learning
Grades K-5 traditional day off
There will be no YMCA child care.
Temperatures are expected to barely make it into the negative single digits on Friday morning and as a result, the district is keeping the safety of its students in mind. No word on what this means for any athletic events in the district.
