The City of Hastings is asking residents who will be participating with their neighborhood on National
Night Out to register!
According to the city, by signing up your block party, you give police officers the opportunity to stop by, meet neighbors, answer questions, and build positive relationships within the community.
National Night Out is a great way to bring people together, promote neighborhood safety, and foster a stronger sense of community pride.
Whether you’re planning a small gathering or a larger neighborhood celebration, registering your event helps ensure your neighborhood can be part of this nationwide effort to create safer, more connected communities.
Hastings National Night Out will take place on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
