St. Croix Bluffs Beach Temporarily Closed After Elevated E. Coli Levels Found in Water

Washington County officials have temporarily closed St. Croix Bluffs Beach after testing found elevated levels of E. coli in the water.

The beach will remain closed until further notice. Parks staff say they’ll continue testing the water and will reopen the swimming area once it’s confirmed safe for the public.

Officials note that the rest of the park remains open, and visitors can continue to use other park facilities during the beach closure.

Anyone with questions or concerns is encouraged to contact Washington County Parks by email at parks@washingtoncountymn.gov.
