The boys hockey team fell just short of Mahtomedi in a crucial section contest 3-2. The Raiders got off to a slow start, falling behind 3-0 against the Zephyrs before getting into the game to start the second period. An increase in physical play kept Mahtomedi from getting to their spots, and the Raiders found the back of the net with a Jonas Schauer goal late on a power play in the second to go into the third down 3-1. Schauer again was involved in a scoring play as he assisted on a goal by Rylan Krauth to get the score to 3-2, but the time ran out. Hockey is next in action Tuesday hosting Two Rivers for senior night.
