This past Saturday, on February 7th, there was a Winter Special Adventure event at the United
Steelworkers Local 662 building in Vermillion. KDWA was there and connected with Winter Special Adventures club member Nick Henry, who offers more information about this event.
“Winter Special Adventures is an event is for individuals with disabilities and special needs to give them something to do in the winter when they’re more cooped up and there’s not events like this for them.”
Henry explains why Winter Special Adventures offers this event, and Henry speaks into the fun the volunteers and individuals have riding around in the side-by-sides.
Volunteers, such as the South Metro ATV Club, help this unique event happen. Henry explains who volunteers.
