Dakota County will host a Budget and Property Tax Open House Thursday, Aug. 6, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the
Dakota County Community Development Agency, 1228 Town Centre Drive, Eagan.
This open house is an opportunity for residents to:

Better understand the county budget and property tax levy and the services the county provides.

Learn how rising costs, new state and federal cost shifts and other factors are creating new challenges for 2027 budget planning.

Ask questions about their property taxes.
Two more open houses are planned this year:

Thursday, Sept. 10, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Dakota County Western Service Center, 14955 Galaxie Ave., Apple Valley.

Tuesday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Dakota County Administration Center, 1590 Hwy. 55, Hastings.
