Happy Thanksgiving!
If you were in downtown Hastings Thanksgiving morning, then you saw the runners, the walkers, the costumes, and the cheering from friends and family. Why? Gobble Gait!
Today was the 28th year of Gobble Gait, and the cold weather didn’t keep folks away. There were smiles and rosy cheeks and lots of laughs.
Gobble Gait is all about community in more ways than just one.
DawnMarie Vihrachoff, Director of Philanthropy at Hastings Family Service, spoke with KDWA prior to Gobble Gait. Vihrachoff says, “All benefits from Gobble Gait help to fund the works and programs of Hastings Family Service.” Director Vihrachoff reminds folks that “when you are walking, running, or celebrating Thanksgiving with Gobble Gait, you’re all helping Hastings Family Service.”
