Hastings Holiday Hoopla!

This past Saturday, November 29th was the 14th annual Holiday Hoopla, presented by the Downtown Business Association. The Holiday Hoopla kicks off the holiday season and the snow did not seem to keep folks away. If anything, it added to the experience. Lock and Dam Eatery had breakfast with Santa, ceramic ornament painting was at Squeaky Wheel Pottery, and at The Studio Downtown there were photos with the Grinch and story time with Mayor Mary!

This community event was fun for all ages. KDWA spoke with young shopper Molly M. to hear about her experience at Holiday Hoopla.

Babett Larimer, proprietor of Squeaky Wheel Pottery, hosted crowds interested in painting and glazing ceramic ornaments. Larimer shared with KDWA what it means to be a part of the Holiday Hoopla.

The Studio Downtown proprietor Wendi Shilts-Johnson told KDWA about her Hoopla experience, and about a couple of special visitors.
