Linda L. Tix, age 74 of Hastings, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a hard-fought battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love for her family was at the center of her life. She especially cherished time with her grandchildren, hosting weekly dinners and creating countless memories with them. Her faith was a steady foundation throughout her life and brought her great comfort.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Walter “Wally” Tix; her children, Julie Tix and Brian (Jamie) Tix; her grandchildren, Josh, Kalley (Quentin), Ryley (Maija), Tanner, Ruby (Isaac), and Leo; her siblings, Steve (Vicki) Siebenaler, Trish Schaack, Nancy (Dave) Angerman, Judy Siebenaler (Darrel Bookout), Dave (Mary) Siebenaler, Donna (Don) Christianson; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends; and her beloved cat, Princess. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and June Siebenaler and her sister, Vic.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St, Hastings, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 8433 239th St E, New Trier, with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to Mass. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery with a reception back at the church.
