The interview process for the Hastings Police Chief candidates is underway. On February 17th at City Hall, a panel
of various community leaders and staff members interviewed the three candidates.
The new police chief will be an internal hire from the Hastings Police Department. The three candidates are Deputy Chief Bryan Schowalter, Commander Kyle Linscheid, and Sergeant Matt Hedrick.
With Police Chief Dave Wilske retiring in March, the City hopes to announce the new Police Chief by early to mid-March.
