On Monday, March 2, 2026, there was a Hastings City Council meeting.
There was a call to order, and Mayor Fasbender and the Hastings City Council proclaimed March Minnesota FoodShare Month. Hastings Family Service Executive Director Amy Sutton accepted the proclamation.
“This is the fourth year of Minnesota FoodShare, and it’s so important that it goes well.” Sutton further stated that “help is needed and deeply appreciated.”
Mayor Fasbender and the Hastings City Council also proclaimed March 8–March 14, 2026, as Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week. Mayor Fasbender encourages all Minnesotans to learn about multiple sclerosis and support individuals with multiple sclerosis, as well as their families.
